Phew! I am living for Drew!

I never expected what he had in store but hot damn!

This will be a quick short and sweet review since this was a novella and even though it is packed full of swoony goodness I dont do spoilers!

Drew is so swoony and I loved him throughout the whole story except I did disagree with the big point of the book I mean come on!

The ending though...I died and cried, soo much!

Again JEM captured me and thrust me back into that world that I missed and I loved being there so much even if it was for a short time. I can't wait to read more from her in the future for sure.

Torrid is the second standalone in the Sordid series and is about Vasilije Markovic (Luka's younger brother, yay!!!), next in line of the Serbian mafia and Oksana, the illegitimate daughter of the Russian boss of the Petrov family. What starts as a ploy to get inside information on the enemy turns out to be so much more. Oksana thought she knew what she was getting herself into but nothing could have really prepared her for the devil. His brutality but also his occasional soft side which tells a very different story. She finds herself in the middle of a very dangerous game where the men think that they are using her as a pawn in order to win, however she turns out to be the queen..

This book had all the feels! YASS! It totally lived up to my expectations after having read Sordid which was oh so good! Vasilije was such a jerk at times and it was HOT! He was so undeestimated by others and no one would have thought that he was capable of the things that he did. I loved Oksana- she was the most badass character ever. She was silent but strong and no one saw her coming. Together, they were simply explosive and they could not get enough of each other. Their chemistry was seriously on fire. I absolutely enjoyed reading this story since it was right up my alley. It was passionate and kinda edgy. To be honest though, it was a great book but it did not surpass Sordid for me, which literally blew my mind last year. I am looking forward to what this author brings us next- I cannot wait!
