Title: Gutter Princess
Series: Jaded #1
Author: Kimmie Easley
Publisher: Swoon Romance
 Release Date: October 19, 2015

Life in the gutter of New Orleans isn’t pretty.

Baby Jade makes ends meet as a stripper in a seedy club, working for less than she deserves for an unscrupulous slime ball. No father. No mother. No other option but to take care of herself the only way she knows how.

Lucky is a drifting hard-ass with a backstory no one has been able to crack. Turning his back on the wealth and class of his upbringing, he has spent years on the road in an effort to find himself.

He doesn’t deserve her.

She doesn’t trust him.

When they get together, nothing can put out the fire between them.

Interesting. I've never read anything by this author before and I am quite impressed. Although it starts slow it gradually gets better and better.

Baby Jade is a broken girl on a town where danger lurks around every corner. Is there someone or something to help chase her demons away and piece her together? Maybe. But she never seen him coming.

Lucky is a quiet and stoic in his everyday life and worst at times when he feels threatened. Who is the tatted bearded man who shows up out of nowhere into Bottoms Up?

Neither was looking for anything until it hit them square in the face exactly what was happening. I'm not gonna say much more cause I refuse to spoil the story for you who haven't read it. This one is truly a fight to understand the struggles that both Lucky and Baby Jade go thru. I really enjoyed this one and didn't want it to end. I hope there is more to come from these two.
