Harley was never a good person, she did despicable things to innocent people under the guise of revenge. She didn't care who suffered because of her actions, even when it affected her twin sister, Hannah. Now Hannah is married and happy and Harley is on the run, scarred and alone. Well not quite alone, she now has her 6 year old son, Jasper, to worry about.
Clay Hart loved Harley once upon a time, until her actions got him killed. At least that's what everyone believes happened. Now he's the one seeking revenge and determined to take his son away from Harley, the woman who destroys everything she touches.
I really liked this plotline, I will reiterate that I really think reading the Billionaire serial is crucial to get a better feel for these characters. All through Billionaire, you really have a general dislike for everything Harley has done. However as the series ends, you definitely can start to understand her motives. I think that that is very important in seeing her at the beginning of Dirty Twisted Love. She has changed, she is making a conscious effort to be better for Jasper. To be someone Jasper can be proud of. Clay hasn't seen any of her changes though and he wants to get Jasper as far away from Harley as he can.
This is a book one and definitely ends in a cliffhanger, and I cant wait to read the next installment!!
