To be completely honest, I don't even know how to rate this book and what to say when I'm supposed to be writing a review here.. 5 stars are not enough. This is not my usual reading material but I decided to take a chance on this story since it was written by the amazingly talented E.K. Blair. I can't even pinpoint my exact state of mind right now. My emotions were in for a bloody wild ride for sure.
There is a very thin line between fantasy and reality when you enter the book world and anonymous is straddling that line. The monotony of our everyday life takes a toll on us and we escape to the book world with our book boyfriends for a couple of hours. However, when it's time to get back that when it becomes difficult. I felt like I was watching a car crash happening but at the same time there was nothing else I could do but to watch it happen. The lies, the betrayals, the drama..
People who wanna read this book, please, I beg of you. Leave your morals at the door before diving in. You'll be questioning yourself for a long time after being done reading. This is a book to be read with an open mind. For me personally, this was a very difficult story to read, to finish even. With that said, I really think that the people out there, especially the romance readers, should pick this book. It is like no other out there. Author Anonymous is brutal and raw to the core. This story will tear you up, piece by piece. I will be thinking about this book for a long time for sure..
