Title: Dragons Need Love, Too
Series: I Like Big Dragons Series #2
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Published: October 19, 2016
Nikolai Vassago has a plan.
His day starts out fairly normal. Get up, kick some ass, fondle his beard, take some names.
One second he’s participating in a normal every day mission, and the next he’s saving the one woman that fate has promised him for the rest of his life from the grips of a criminal mastermind.
Nikolai can’t say he’s altogether displeased with what he’s given, though. Not with that gorgeous brunette that would soon be warming his bed.
The same can’t be said for Brooklyn.
Living in a commune most of her life meant she wasn’t exposed to all of life’s craziness. The moment she turned eighteen, she was off and running, experiencing all of what life had to give.
That means she sometimes jumps in feet first, not thinking about consequences until the deed is already done.
Nikolai rescues her from a fate worse than hell, throwing her on the back of his dragon and flying off into the night.
He’s a go-with-the-flow kind of man. Brooklyn, however, is not.
Having been caged for the first eighteen years of her life, she wants nothing more than to be free to do what she pleases, consequences be damned.
Nikolai, however, has different ideas, and he’s not above using his masculine will to prove to her that she’s exactly where she needs to be.
Dragons need love, too is book 2 in the I Like big Dragons series and is Nikolai and Brooklyn's story. Nikolai is one of Keifer's younger brothers and Brooklyn is Blythe's (Keifers wife) best friend. We met Keifer and Blythe as well as the rest of the group in book 1 of the series. Yes you need to read book 1 first. You will most definitely understand what is going on better. You will LOVE book 1 as well.
Dragons need love Too picks up right where I Like Big Dragons and I Cannot Lie has left off. Brooklyn was attacked and they get her to safety for her to heal. Nikolai notices that Brooklyn is his mate, but she is still unconscious and he doesn't know how to handle it. She wakes up and notices some things are different and they begin to try and figure out what to do and how to find out who is behind all the danger. I like that the mates to the Dragon Riders get powers as well. It's not just the dragons and riders. This is definitely not what I'm used to reading when it comes to paranormal books and I love it. I love how Lani writes and she makes it so easy to read and follow along in a story. Her writing is simply GREAT. I don't have words to describe how much I love this book and every other book she has written.
Lani is most notably known for her Books about Motorcycle clubs and the Dragon Series is her first step into paranormal and if I must say so, she freaking ROCKED it. Book 2 is better then what Book 1 in this series so no way can anyone say it was luck, it takes way more then luck to write so many freaking fantastic books and Mrs. Vale has got several under her belt. This book is another to add to that long list of 5 star reads. I loved it from the beginning and even the ending that left me hanging and wanting book 3 (hoping it's Ian's story- you gotta read book 2 to find out who he is, I'm not telling 😁) yesterday.
Once again you Mrs. Lani Lynn Vale have written another phenomenal book and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one.
I recommend you the book reader go and grab this one!!!!
Thank you so much Lani for letting me read and review your fantastic work, I truly appreciate it.
Happy reading peeps!!!
