Beautiful, just utterly beautiful.
i have no..wait yes i do! i can say plenty about this one so here goes!
Jo is a heartbroken woman, even after 5 years. Having lost her best friend and her love of her life and the father of her son tragically overseas she is looking to start new or somewhat new. Moving to a new place may be just what her and Junior need. Even though it's hard to leave him behind she knows in order to move on a little and take care of her son she needs to do it.
Drew, a musician and a man who is a total jokester gets knocked back by the fiesty woman who is new to the building when his music wakes her up and she confronts him about it. Although he is funny there is also a layer to him that takes awhile before it comes out and it is so heartbreaking and selfless that he still struggles with it.

This story shows a side of loss that is IMO very real. Coping with a loss that just goes down to the core of who you are can ultimately wreck someone and maybe never be able to come back from it. I sympathized with Jo on a level that was so heartbreaking that it really hurt. The emotion that Elena pushed out through Jo was amazing especially when it came to Junior and Christopher. Truly a very touching read.

Yes! superheroes! okay lets talk superheroes for a minute and put a pause on the sappy stuff...i literally flipped out when i read that first mention of the shield, which by the way Elena kudos! i got a good visual image! I am a sucker for anything that involves anything superheroes and so is my son. Reading all about them just made me love this book even more and i am going to find a scrub cap with Captain America on it , it is a mission now!

If you want a truly great second chance story than this is the one for sure because if a second chance should ever come it would be in this form most definitely. i read this book in one sitting and i am just bummed that i couldn't stay with them longer.
