Title: Living for the Badman
Series: Russian Bratva #4
Author: Hayley Faiman
Genre: Romantic Suspense
-AVAILABLE NOW-
Ashley Riggs' life was forever changed when she was only seventeen years old. Thrust into a world of darkness, scarred at the hands of many, and left abandoned in a cage, her hope is found in the man who rescues her from the clutches of hell. Day by day, he breathes life into her, and her heart becomes his. But when she longs for more, her savior turns his back on her, insistent that he cannot give her what she wants.
Yakov Chekov is certain that evil runs in his veins. Direct descendant of the late Ivan Chekov—the poison that infected the Russian Bratva in ways that cannot be forgiven, and the father he murdered in the name of justice—Yakov fears he cannot love as a man should. Yet, try as he might, pushing away his sweet girl, in order to protect her from himself, proves to be impossible.
When neither time, nor distance, can eradicate the love they harbor for one another, they must both ask themselves what it is they truly want—and what, as well as who, they are willing to sacrifice to be together. Yet, through it all, Ashley knows one thing for sure. Her heart is tethered to one man—one badman who makes life worth living.

I was lucky to read Living for the Badman by Hayley Faiman in an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is the 4th book in the series, and each book just gets better and better. I am giving this book 5 stars because the author did a wonderful job on Ashley and Yakov story. Just when you think finally they are going to get their happy ending Yakov has to go and start acting like a jerk. What he says to Ashley is so ugly but he doesn't stop there he makes everything worse by leaving her. So now poor Ashley who has been though so much has just lost the love of her life. But she not alone she has people who love he and who are going to make sure she get through this and comes out strong, and meets someone who will love who the way she deserves to be loved. The only problem is Yakov even though he told her to move on and be with someone else when he finds out that's exactly what she doing moving on he doesn't like it. He starts to spy on her and checking out finding who the man is. Yakov wants to find out if the man is good enough for his Ashley even though he left her broken. Ashley is happy she finding her way to a better life without Yakov she is even making decisions on her own. With this new man his helping her find out who she is and who she can become. He lets her know that she runs her own life that no one should own her but she should be in charge of her own life. Its really sad to take this journey with Ashley because its like she a child again. She feels like she has to ask for everything and if she does or says the wrong thing she thinks she going to be punished. Ashley knows she loves Yakov but when he comes back for her will she go with him or will she let him know she has changed. I don't want to give away to much your just going to have to read the book to find out what happens. I will say this their story was so heartbreaking but it was also very beautiful. And I wouldn't change nothing about this book, but then again this writer knows what she doing when it comes to this series. She always gives her readers what we love.
I was born and raised in California. My husband and I met when I was just 16. We were married a few years later, moving to Oregon while he was in the US Coast Guard.
Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we're raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
