REVIEW

I had the pleasure of reading A Surrogate Love Affair by Jaimie Roberts in an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I am giving this book 5 stars because the author did a beautiful job crafting such an amazing story together. What made this book so good is how two couples who are really close end up needing each other but the only problem is can their friendship survive what's about to come their way. It takes a strong woman to carry a baby for someone else even if your doing it for your bestie who you love and adore. I can only image how hard it would be to have to hand the baby you felt kick and grow in your tummy to someone else who will be the child mom. But it says a lot about the woman who does this it just shows what a wonderful person she is, so it sucks that she gets stuck with a husband who is such a big a**hole. So when she finally leaves him I think that was the best part of the story. But of course there is some struggles she goes through like will she end up raising this baby by herself because not only does she not have her husband, but she also lost her best-friend. She finally something she has always wanted to feel a life growing inside her, but this wish came at a cost the question is was this wish worth it if her life feels like it's falling apart. I loved this book because I felt for her being a mother is such a blessing, and I could understand where she was coming for her, and I honestly this baby was a blessing for her because this child made all the bad people leave her life. Its was like the baby changed her to see people for are ugly they truly are. I especially loved the ending of this book because it had a twist that I was not expecting at all. If you love reading Jaimie books then you are going to really enjoy this book.

Jaimie Roberts was born in London, but moved to Gibraltar in 2001. She is married with two sons, and in her spare time, she writes.

In June 2013, Jaimie published her first book, Take a Breath, with the second released in November 2013. With the reviews, Jaimie took time out to read and learn how to become a better writer. She gets tremendous enjoyment out of writing, and even more so from the feedback she receives.
