Everything about this story made my decision to read it a no brainer. The title (made me giggle) the author (known and one of my favorites), and “Hello!” that cover had my mouth watering. Cocky Chef shows the depth and experience this author has as a writer. The talent and creativity is shown throughout the book.

The subject matter is refreshing and so much fun to fall into.

Cole is an arrogant celebrity chef. He’s known for his outstandiNg talent in the kitchen, his temper and his heart stopping good looks. He has the ability to teach anyone but not the patience. He knows the secret in discovering those who are passionate about cooking. He’s also hard on those who work for him, expects respect and demands loyalty. His life hasn’t been easy and his trust in others is lacking, but he always gets what he wants. So when his newest line cook talks back and gives him attitude he’s ready to show her the door. Now if only his body would stop reacting to the beauty standing before him.

Willow has made the move to LA to work for the biggest restaurant in town, Knife. With her dreams in Idaho shattered she’s hesitant to even think about trying again. Now she’s just living everyday as the newest line cook at Knife. But when a customer is ready to tell her what he thinks about her cooking, she isn’t one to back down. She’s prepared to lose her job to keep her dignity.

Cole and Willow will cook more than in the kitchen. They will experiment with new ideas and explore the new flavors that their palates crave.

I couldn’t get to the end fast enough. I had to know if these two could resolve their differences. Cocky Chef had me laughing, crying and smiling so big.

I strongly encourage you to escape from the kiTchen and let this couple do all the cooking for you.

She lets out a sigh of relief, but my cock hears something different in her gasping exhale. I bring my thumb slowly to a speck at the side of her mouth, fingers resting on the round perfection of her jawline. She stills under my touch and catches my gaze, time slowing with the deliberateness of my movements.

I brush the speck, but don’t pull away.
