I have anxiously been waiting for Emma Hart’s newest series Vegas Nights. Sin, the first book is worth the wait. It’s compelling and explosive. Ms. Hart takes you hostage from page one and holds you to the very last page. I want more from this newest couple and I already know the next installments will have me falling more for these people.
Damien Fox has one goal, to buy The Scarlett Letter. It’s a unique bar in Vegas that caters to readers and introverts. He doesn’t care what the cost or method but he knows it’s only a matter of time and patience to get what he wants.
Dahlia Lloyd is still grieving the loss of her dad. It’s been three months and knows it’s time to tend to business. Well, that and there’s someone who won’t seem to leave her club alone. Mr. Fox is forcing Ms. Lloyd back to Vegas and she’s ready to tell him what he can do with his offer.
These two are feisty and stubborn. Dahlia deserves respect and no man will tell her what to do or what she can’t do. She lost her mom at a young age and still misses her every day. Damien has his own pain. His father is the only family he has and later we find out more.
Money and good looks may have gotten Damien whatever he wants in the past but Dahlia is not impressed by any of it – well, maybe his good looks but not his cocky attitude or demands.
I absolutely love Emma Hart’s writing and Sin is pure sin. The chemistry Damien and Dahlia share is explosive and together they are a force to be reckoned.
