The Wright Mistake is the first book I have read in the Wright Brothers series by K.A. Linde. It can be read as a standalone and is told in dual point of view. K.A. Linde gives us a story about real life and all the problems a family faces. It deals with issues of addiction and unconditional love. There is an unexpected turn that this story took that had me going back to reread it to make sure I read it correctly. I couldn’t believe what I was reading and cried each time I read the words.
Austin Wright is brother that loves to play and doesn’t take life seriously. He enjoys drinking his feelings away and the company of women helps drown out the one woman that got away.
Julia enjoyed the company of Austin Wright two years ago and now that she is out of her latest relationship, she refuses to fall into old habits. He broke her heart then and now he’s back. The looks he gives her and the way her body reacts around him isn’t what her head is telling her to do. She wants to stay far away and it shouldn’t be hard since all they ever do is argue.
