Emma Hart brings us a story about a hooker and a cop. Not just any hooker but a hooker with a name that means something in Vegas. Perrie Fox is the sister of Damien who we met in Sin. Don’t panic, Lust can be read as a standalone but why would you want to? Grab book one and start this super sexy, panty melting series.
Now the title alone should grab your attention and if that doesn’t do it the author alone hooked me in. We get to witness creative greatness that Emma Hart creates. Lust has to be my favorite book so far from this author. I always enjoy how easily she pulls emotions from me with her main characters but she has blown me away with the littles in this book. The family dynamic is weaved in perfectly and Lola and Zac melted my heart. They are typical kids and they are perfectly portrayed because Ms. Hart knows kids.
Perrie is just trying to make a living to keep a roof over her and her daughter’s head and food on the table. Our hot and sexy cop, Adrian Potter is just doing his job. The way Perrie handles Adrian from the beginning had me anxiously waiting for their explosive connection. Their love should be forbidden since they are both on opposite sides of the law but love knows no boundaries or limits.
Typical of Ms. Hart’s writing the humor and sassiness is all over this book but the real-life journey that Perrie and Adrian take us on just left me in awe.
