Kendall Ryan’s conclusion of the Forbidden Desires series in Dirty Little Promise is just as the title suggests. It’s dirty because well Gavin shows just how dirty he likes it with Emma and his dominance is evident throughout. It’s little because Emma’s submission seems small in comparison her dominant. And promise because we are promised a heck of a conclusion and boy do we get it. This conclusion answers all the questions that we were left in Dirty Little Secret but it also has mystery and suspense as some are not happy with Emma’s decisions. There are more obstacles thrown their way and Emma and Gavin need to figure out who or what is causing them.
I really enjoyed the bond of the brothers and how they come together in time of crisis. Bethany, Emma’s best friend and co-worker is just as protective and a true friend. I love that Emma is strong and determined to get the answers she deserves despite being tempted to just forgive Gavin.
Dirty Little Promise cannot be read as a standalone and is told in dual points of view. There’s also a promise of more from these brothers, so start now with this series today.
