Cora Reilly has written many of my favorite romance stories ever! And she has brought us another ''arranged marriage'' novel- I could not wait to jump right in! This is simply what she does best and I could feel myself getting sucked into the storyline from the very beginning..
This is Kiara Vitiello and Nino Falcone's story, the right hand man of the leader of the Las Vegas Camorra, the most ruthless made men in the US territory and the niece of the New York Famiglia's Capo. They were to be wed for a truce between the two sides in order to stop a war from happening.
He was the emotionless fighter, doing what he did best, that is using his fists to get things done whilst she was the scarred young woman still suffering for her father's betrayals against the Famiglia. They could not have been more different from each other but seeing them come together during the course of the book could not have been more perfect..
The author never ceases to to keep me enchanted with her writing, I simply cannot wait for the next book!
