This a longer length novella and is the second book in the Sweet series. It is told in dual POV, has an HEA, and no cliffhanger. Since Samantha and Jase are recurring characters from Sweet Temptation and Sweet Love, I recommend reading both books prior to this but it isn’t a must.

Samantha Evans, the little sister to Sawyer Evans and an independent woman but is she really? Clouded by a longing to belong and be on her own at the same time, Sam has to come to terms with who she wants to be and where she wants to be.
Jase Crawford, sworn enemy to Sawyer Evans, and will always be his enemy and no one will change it, or so he thinks. Not wanting to accept what he's feeling for the girl he shouldn't want but desperately wants her to be his, can he push past his hate or will it consume him and cost him everything he wants?
Utterly beautiful.
This story is just beautiful and amazing! I knew I wanted to know more about Sam and Jase ever since Sweet Temptation and man did KC deliver and then some. Sam is everything I hoped she would be, independent and strong but also pained and conflicted on the inside. Not knowing where her place was or where she belonged she just floated on life but where that landed her in the past hurt her badly. Enter Jase, who she shouldn't want because of her big brother but ultimately does and he changes everything for her.
I love every one of KCs books but this one was just amazing and the Madam JuJu, I literally busted out laughing because like Sam I believe but my husband does not and he says the same thing that Jase did. I just love these two, I will say I have to agree with what's been said about Jase and Sawyer, they are so similar it is laughable! I can't wait to read more from KC because not reading is just not a thought that ever comes in my mind. The woman is gifted for writing some hot as hell alphas and amazing women to put up with them!
Another big factor that hit home with me was the way I related to Sam and Grace. I did a reread of Sweet Temptation before reading this one and I was in tears for both. There is a huge connection with these two books for me that realized and I absolutely will hold these two close! Sam and Jase are just a beautiful and amazing couple to be destined to be together. I can't wait to read more on this epic couple
